Kindness

Kindness is ...

Doing something nice for someone without expecting anything in return.
Going out of your way to help someone in trouble.
Being careful not to hurt others.
Taking time to understand the needs of others.
Treating others the way you would like to be treated.

The following are some thoughts from our class on what kindness means to them.

Kindness is treating someone the way you want to be treated.
Kindness is giving gifts, giving to the homeless, and helping those in need.
Kindness is making teachers happy when you have done wrong and making somehone happy when they are dump in the dumps.
Kindness is best because you help so much.

What kindness means to me is treating people how you want to be treated.

When I was kind I gave my grandma's dog Sisse my very little stuffed lion. It was her size.

You could give food to the poor.
You could help old people if they need it.
When someone drops something you could pick it up.
Since I have been going to church, I have taken food for the poor. I take it because I want to be kind not for bonus points and that way I act in an image of God.
So if you want to act the way I do, be cool, be kind.

I showed kindness to my brother when I pulled him in a wagon. I pulled him one mile. He liked it. I had fun and he had fun.

I am kind because every Christmas I give my toy to Goodwill. Some times it goes to people that do not have stuff to buy. I gave stuff away.

Kindness is a person who would be nice to other people. They won't push them around. They won't be mean to them and they'll all have fun and be nice to each other.
