- Find five compound words from the story and list them.
- Pick five sentences from the story and underline the
subject once and the predicate twice.
- Find five contractions from the story and write what
they mean. (Example: won't ... will not)

- Chapter 1
- Peter lists his complete address. Write your complete
address to include city, state and zipcode.
- Fudge seems to get into quite a bit of trouble. If
he were your brother, what would you do to make
sure he stays out of trouble.

List five things you do to prepare for guests.
